Welcome to our Golf Club through our website.

Collectively, we have been members at Rochford for almost 60 years.
A long history which we hope will be beneficial to our Term of office.

We look forward to supporting our Teams this year in the numerous Inter Club Competitions of the Essex Union and the Essex Ladies County Golf Association. We wish them every success in 2024.

The Men’s and Ladies’ sections have a varied calendar of events, providing Competitive golf at Weekends and Midweek.

At Rochford, we have a ‘New to Golf’ programme and plan to rebuild our Junior Cadet section, which we both fully support.

Our Club Captain along with the assistance of our Club Professional has plans for some of the club days, which he hope the members will find memorable and enjoyable. 

The Ladies section runs a vibrant ‘off the course’ calendar which includes lunches, Whist Drives and a Bridge League.

A number of social events are already booked, which we hope our members along with their guests will support and enjoy.

We are very proud of the 131 year history of RHGC, the course, the clubhouse, the members, and the family-friendly welcoming atmosphere.

Our Club welcomes individuals, societies, and new members, both golf and social.

We are privileged to be Captains at such a favourable time in the history of RHGC and are looking forward with enthusiasm and optimism for the year, for ourselves, members and guests alike.
